Xena is from Hackney.  He writes, records and performs original works of music. Most of the bands and collaborations have been rock/indie oriented, but he draws on a wider range of influences.

He is first and foremost a guitarist and also plays bass, drums and keyboards in their own right and uses them to create drumbeats and other instruments.   Xena’s creative process focuses on getting the sound right and recording live – there is very little by way of enhancement or adjustment of each piece after it has been recorded.

The Xena albums and EPs are his solo writing and recording. The longest and most prolific collaboration was with the singer, Charly Matthews.  There are currently two albums reflecting their work together – Another Mans Army’s “Queen of the Promiscuous” and Xena’s solo album “Craven Park Road + My Universe” where Charly did all the vocals.   The “Citizens of Earth” EP was recorded with Paul and Suz Rowe, brother and sister from Melbourne.    Terra++Luna’s “Drench me in silence” was a collaboration with Aluna Francis.   Xena briefly worked with Kay on the Love EP but lost touch with her shortly after they stopped working together.
